Tonight I saw the revival of Jesus Christ Superstar... for the second time. I already wrote one masterful essay on it for my Theater and Culture class this past semester, and seeing the show again makes me want to write another essay.

I don't know if you've ever seen a production of this show, but this particular production is bizarre. I dislike some of the staging, but overall it's extremely powerful. While the staging isn't perfect (in my opinion), I understand why the director made the decisions he made. Honestly, it's a production that I could discuss for days... you can read a lot into the relationships between Jesus, Mary and Judas.

Did you watch the Tonys? Well that was not Josh Young's shining moment... go see the show... he's one of the best performers I've ever seen on Broadway.
